إلغاء الحزب الحاكم في السودان للقيود المفروضة على فترة الولاية الرئاسية

تصويت الحزب يمهد لبقاء عمر البشير "رئيسًا مدى الحياة" أغسطس 2018 -في يوم الخميس  ٩ اغسطس ، اتخذ المجلس الاستشاري لحزب المؤتمر الوطني، الحزب الحاكم في السودان، خطوة مبدئية رئيسية نحو إلغاء القيود المعنية بتحديد فترة  الولاية الرئاسية في السودان، وهي الخطوة التي تمهد الطريق لاحتمالية تولي الرئيس عمر البشير رئاسة السودان مدى الحياة، وذلك قبيل الانتخابات الرئاسية المقبلة المزمع إجراؤها في 2020 .حيث صوت الحزب بالإجماع بالموافقة على مقترح بتعديل اللوائح التنظيمية للحزب لغرض السماح للبشير بالترشح، حيث أن دستور حزب المؤتمر الوطني كان ينص في السابق على التقيد بترشيح مرشحي الحزب لمنصبي الرئيس ونائب الرئيس لفترتين فقط صرح ...
