Enough Project partners The Resolve LRA Crisis Initiative and Invisible Children released an updated version of the LRA Crisis Tracker report, The State of the LRA [September 2015 Update]. The report details a significant increase in LRA abductions in 2015, totaling 417 Congolese civilians from January through August. Abductions have increased by close to 60% this year compared to the 262 abductions in the first eight months of 2014. The purpose of abductions seems to be related to LRA acquisition of food and other goods, as over 78% of Congolese abductees escaped or were released within three days.
