Former Indiana Sen. Richard Lugar, a foreign policy icon in the Senate who served from 1977 to 2013 and was the former chairman of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee, died Sunday, according to his family.
John Prendergast, Founding Director of The Enough Project, says, “The world has lost a great leader on international affairs and foreign policy. Senator Lugar was a champion of our issues at Enough and we will miss his steady hand and compassionate voice.”
