Join us December 3 for #GivingTuesday and show your support!
The season of giving is here. It is common during this time of year to think about gifts we plan to give family and friends during the holidays. We look for the best deals for our siblings, co-workers and relatives, but what about our global community? What about the Sudanese families living in refugee camps in Chad who only want to return home, or the mothers in Congo whose only wish for the holidays is for an end to the regional conflict so their children can grow up without the threat of violence? This year, during this time of giving, we have an opportunity to look beyond our own familial and local communities and give back to our international community; to give hope to someone thousands of miles away.
One way we can do this is by taking part in #GivingTuesday. On December 3, #GivingTuesday kicks off its second annual movement urging individuals around the world to join together and embrace what the season of giving is really about. Similar to Black Friday and Cyber Monday, #GivingTuesday is a day where individuals have the opportunity to come together using personal philanthropy to make a difference in the lives of others.
The Enough Project is one of #GivingTuesday’s non-profit partners. All proceeds from your Enough Project #GivingTuesday donation will help our organization to continue the work we do to support the educational needs of Darfuri students in refugee camps, to bring international attention to violence in the Sudans and the Democratic Republic of Congo, and to enable us to develop practical policies to address these crises, and share sensible tools to empower citizens and groups working for change in these countries.
On Tuesday, December 3, check out The Enough Project on Facebook and Twitter for easy ways to give back bigger, better, and smarter this holiday season.
