Don’t miss the opportunity to demonstrate for peace in Sudan this Sunday at the Hope for Darfur – Justice in Sudan march and rally in Washington, D.C. Aimed at educating the public on Sudan’s conflicts, the march begins at 1:30 p.m. behind the U.S. Holocaust Memorial Museum and ends with a rally across from the White House featuring speakers from Sudan, the Sudan activist community, clergy from various denominations, and music.
Event sponsor, the Darfur Interfaith Network, is a coalition of different congregations and advocacy organizations dedicated to raising awareness of the ongoing conflict and violence in Darfur and the rest of Sudan. Learn more about the organization and its work from the activists themselves—in this blog post they contributed to Enough Said.
