If you’re in the New York area next Tuesday, drop in on what’s sure to be a dynamic workshop at the VII Gallery titled, “Can One Story Change the World? A Conversation between Photography and Policy.”

The discussion will feature award-winning photojournalist Ron Haviv, who has produced headlining images of conflict and humanitarian crises and whose work has appeared in the Louvre, United Nations, and the Council on Foreign Relations; Noelle LuSane, Staff Director of the House Subcommittee on Africa and Global Health; and John Prendergast, Co-founder of the Enough Project; and media industry leaders. The focus of the evening is the impact of photojournalism on domestic and international policy.

The event, hosted by Art Works Projects, takes place from 6:30-9 pm at 28 Jay Street Brooklyn, NY 11201. It costs $10 per person, $5 for students. Please RSVP to [email protected]
