April 25, 2013 @ 9:00 am - 5:00 pm

One Million Bones in conjunction with Oregon Coalition for Humanity's (OCH) Conflict Free City Initiative (CFCI) installation where the public will be able to walk through a path of bones and electronics.

OMB is a national public arts project whose aim is to raise awareness of genocides and atrocities going on around the world, this very day. The national installation will be at our Nation’s capital in June 2013, and the bones installed at PSU on April 25.

CFCI is an initiative of Raise Hope for Congo whose aim is to combine awareness and action as to where the minerals which go into our electronics come from.

The installation will coincide with Genocide Prevention & Awareness Month and the purpose of the month is to draw attention to past and current atrocities for the purpose of working to prevent future genocides from occurring.

If you cannot make the event in Portland, OCH is livestreaming the event and are inviting questions ahead of time with the hashtag: #CFCIOMB.
