Emmy and Golden Globe-winning Actress Mariska Hargitay (Law and Order: Special Victims Unit), starred in two episodes of Law and Order: SVU for which Enough’s Founding Director John Prendergast acted as script consultant. The first episode, “Hell,” was based on the plight of child soldiers and sexual slaves in Central Africa, and aired in March 2009. The second, “Witness,” aired in March 2010 and addressed the rape of women in Congo. The two also co-authored an article on the same topic, which ran in the Huffington Post that same month. Mariska also contributed her personal story to The Enough Moment, written by Prendergast with Don Cheadle.
