NFL Linebacker Andy Mulumba has been an outspoken advocate for the Enough Project’s Congo and conflict minerals work since October 2013. As the only Congolese NFL player at the time, Mulumba joined Packers teammate Aaron Rodgers, one of the most respected athletes in the NFL, and Emmanuelle Chriqui at a Rally for Congo at the University of Wisconsin – Madison. He has also spoken to several other student groups, including during a session for the Conflict-Free Campus Initiative’s Campus Organizer training retreat in August 2016. Mulumba is committed to bringing awareness to the conflict in Congo, calling on corporations to uphold responsibility to humanity, and standing in solidarity with the people of the Democratic Republic of the Congo.
