John Prendergast to Testify at Tom Lantos Human Rights Commission Hearing on the Sudans

The Tom Lantos Human Rights Commission, or TLHRC, will hold a hearing on the Sudans focusing on the extent of government-sponsored violence against Sudanese citizens, the scope of the resulting humanitarian crisis, the underlying human rights violations and actions that the United States can take to stop human rights abuses, restore access to humanitarian aid and ensure lasting peace in the region.

Enough Project Co-Founder John Prendergast will testify on panel, along with several human rights advocates and experts. 

The following witnesses will testify:

Panel I

  • Nancy E. Lindborg, Assistant Administrator, Bureau for Democracy, Conflict and Humanitarian Assistance, U.S. Agency for International Development
