American Association for the Advancement of Science Hosts Symposium on Science and Human Rights

The American Association for the Advancement of Science (AAAS) is holding a symposium called "Connecting Science, Engineering, Ethics and Human Rights: Beyond Human Subjects Research." Its purpose is to explore how science and engineering, ethics and human rights, interact in ways that go beyond the question of the protection of human subjects.

Jonathan Hutson, Director of Communications at the Enough Project and Satellite Sentinel Project spokesperson will be a panelist at the event. He will be a part of the panel "Case Studies: Emerging Issues at the Intersection of Ethics and Human Rights." This panel will discuss different case studies which address the intersection between ethics and human rights.
