On May 14, Enough Project Senior Policy Analyst Sasha Lezhnev will join Congresswoman Karen Bass (D-CA-37), Ranking Member of the House Foreign Affairs Committee’s Subcommittee on Africa, and other leading experts on the region at the Museum of Tolerance in Los Angeles for an event hosted by Jewish World Watch. The Town Hall seeks to explore ways in which the U.S. government and the international community can help achieve durable peace throughout Africa.
As the Congolese strive for a better future for their country, Congo is brimming with possibilities for constructive partnerships. Congresswoman Bass, a critical voice championing policies to end Congo’s crisis, will lead this discussion about challenges and opportunities facing the country, as well as the vast potential for sustainable economic growth throughout Africa.
