Senate Human Rights Caucus: Assessing Electoral Progress in the Democratic Republic of the Congo

Elections in the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC) have been repeatedly delayed since DRC President Joseph Kabila’s failure to step down at the end of his constitutional term in 2016. Please join the Senate Human Rights Caucus for a discussion with experts about current conditions in the DRC and steps that need to be taken to ensure that free and fair elections are held as scheduled for December 23, 2018.
