Responding to Genocide: History and Moving Forward

Sarah Gardiner, Investigative Analyst for the Sentry, will join American University SIS at their event covering R2P and mass atrocity prevention. The event will feature a film screening of a new documentary, called Faces of Genocide, followed by a panel discussion between professor Jeff Bachman (AU), professor Douglas Irvin-Erickson (GMU), Christoper Preble (Cato Institute), and Sarah Gardiner (The Sentry). Panelists will discuss various foreign policy tools to prevent and respond to genocide, as well as the new Elie Wiesel Act.
