A ray of hope for Congo?

Investigative Analyst Sarah Gardiner will join Congolese civil society leaders in a discussion regarding the current political situation in Congo and steps local groups are taking to empower themselves in the absence of support from the state. The event is organized by Bomoko, a Congolese NGO focused on equal access to health care, education, and agricultural resources. Former Assistant Secretary for African Affairs at the US Department of State Herman Jay Cohen will provide introductory remarks. Panelists will include Sarah Gardiner, Director of Choiseul Africa Capital Eric Mboma, and Director of Bomoko Leon Tshilolo.
