Peace and Displacement in South Sudan

No Lost Generation at American University is excited to present a panel on Peace and Displacement in South Sudan.

The panelists:

  • Professor Marisa O. Ensor’s (Georgetown University School of Foreign Service and American University School of International Service) research considers the link between threats to peace and security and the politics of forced displacement, peacebuilding and reconciliation with a focus on youth and gender dynamics.
  • Aimee Dowl (U.S Department of State) has focused on humanitarian policy affecting refugees in the Great Lakes Region and the Horn of Africa. She currently manages U.S. humanitarian assistance to refugees and other vulnerable populations in Sudan and South Sudan.
  • Brian Adeba (The Enough Project) is the Deputy Director of Policy at the Enough Project in Washington DC where he focuses on South Sudan affairs.
