WHY NOW</b>: The U.S. takes over the presidency of the U.N. Security Council on June 1, 2008. This is our opportunity to demand decisive action. Specifically, that the U.S. uses its influence in the U.N. to push for the deployment of well equipped peacekeepers in Darfur.<br />
