Rally at the Capitol Reflecting Pool to Protest the Burning of Abyei

Join the SPLM Chapter of Washington DC on June 26th, to protest the unnecessary killings of innocent civilians, children, men and women and the burning of villages in Abyei, Sudan last month. The demonstration will take place at the Capitol Reflecting Pool in order to:

  • Demand compensation for displaced civilians and urge the UN to provide humanitarian assistance and relief for the people of Abyei.
  • Call for full implementation of the Comprehensive Peace Agreement (CPA) and that of the recent SPLM/NCP Join Road Map to implement the Abyei Protocol without deviation.
