Monday, October 10th

6pm PST: Omer Ismail will speak at Shasta College after a screening of Madina’s Dream. An unflinching and poetic glimpse into a forgotten war, Madina’s Dream tells the story of rebels and refugees fighting to survive in Sudan’s Nuba mountains.

1pm PST: Table talk in the Shasta College Cafeteria, Room 2066

5pm PST: African Meal in the Shasta College Cafeteria 

6pm PST: “Genocide in Sudan:  Why Hope, Why Act?" Panel, Student Center Stage, Cafeteria. Panelists will include international experts Omer Ismail, Esther Sprague, Gabriel Stauring, and Katie Jay Scott.
