Five Things you can do in 15 Minutes: check out the Darfur activist card now.

The games China is hosting in Beijing can't hide those it's playing in Darfur

All nations share the responsibility to help bring an end to the genocide in Darfur. China has a special obligation to respond. China, more than any other government except Khartoum itself, has the ability to help bring peace to the people of Sudan.

The time for patience with Khartoum is long past gone.

ENOUGH, the Save Darfur Coalition, STAND: A Student Anti-Genocide Coalition, Genocide Intervention Network, and Dream for Darfur released a joint position paper outlining the essential steps China needs to take to help end genocide in Darfur.

Add your name to the thousands of activists around the world calling on China to live up to the ideals of the Olympic Games and help end genocide in Darfur. Sign the petition to Chinese President Hu here. Click here to read the joint statement.

Sudan: The Executive Legacy STAND has outlined the four-part policy framework President Bush must follow in order to end the genocide and help bring peace to Sudan. Turn it Up for Sudan
ENOUGH has teamed up with mtvU and STAND, a Student Anti-Genocide Coalition, for Turn it Up: a month of exclusive album leaks and video premieres on mtvU.com, and call to action on one of the world’s most pressing humanitarian crises. Running through early May, more than a dozen groundbreaking artists will exclusively “pre-release” new albums on mtvU.com, with several more exclusively premiering new videos on the site. Adjacent to the new music will be simple ways for college students to support STAND’s efforts, which call on President Bush to take bold and immediate action to protect the people of Darfur during his last year in office, as well as petition their local congresspersons via ENOUGH, to do more to end the genocide. Call President Bush and demand that he ensures the success of the CPA and the Abyei Protocol.
The success of the Comprehensive Peace Agreement (CPA), and in particular, the Abyei Protocol, will define President Bush's legacy. We applaud the Bush Administration for taking a critical leadership role in brokering the agreement, and for the President's recent appointment of a new special envoy. Call the White House (1-202-456-1414) and urge the President to finish the job by putting U.S. diplomats in the field to work on implementing the CPA and forging peace in Darfur, and imposing a cost on any Sudanese official obstructing implementation of the CPA or deployment of the UN protection force by pressing for targeted sanctions at the UN Security Council.

To learn more about the oil-rich, controversial region of Abyei, read ENOUGH’s most recent report, Abyei: Sudan’s "Kashmir".
